Mental Health & Agriculture

'Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of strength.  I encourage anyone who is struggling with their mental health to take advantage of the linked resources. We are in this together, and as Commissioner, I'm committed to raising awareness of the mental health resources available to farmers and rural Georgians and working to increase access to quality mental healthcare across the state.'  Commissioner Tyler Harper

NAMI

What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health. Today, we are an alliance of more than 600 local affiliates who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.

Community Service Board of Middle Georgia

Community Service Board of Middle Georgia provides behavioral health services focusing on mental health and substance abuse, in addition to intellectual and developmental disabilities for all ages. We treat individuals, families, and communities with services and support programs that instill hope, achieve healing, and establish stability.

Georgia Agricultural Wellness Alliance

GAWA works to support our agricultural communities and local partners by creating and identifying resources, training, and conversations in support of better mental health on the farm.
