Our Land, Your Mission!

Martin's Garden has served the community for ten years through organic farming, CSA memberships, farm stands, and local restaurant partnerships. Throughout its history, our mission has remained constant: to strengthen our community by supporting sustainable agriculture, increasing access to healthy food, and demonstrating responsible stewardship of the land.

As the Martins contemplate retirement and transitioning away from supporting daily farm operations, our greatest hope is to see this land continue to flourish under new leadership. We are seeking an experienced organization(s)) that is prepared to independently operate the property, bring its own vision and expertise, and responsibly steward the land and facilities in a manner consistent with its mission while honoring the principles of sustainable agriculture.

Because our objective is continued community impact—not financial return—we envision an arrangement in which the selected organization(s) have access to the land and existing infrastructure with little or no traditional land cost. Any financial contribution would be intended solely to offset the actual costs of maintaining the property's infrastructure, equipment, utilities, insurance, and long-term sustainability, ensuring these assets remain available for future community use.

Organizations are encouraged to propose the model that best advances their mission, whether focused on community food production, farm-to-table agriculture, education, charitable programs, or other compatible agricultural or community-serving uses.  A description of whom should apply for this opportunity, deadlines for applications and all details are available on our website at martinsgardenacf.com under the "Our Land, Your Mission" section.
