FARMER WANTED: GROW AND SELL FRESH PRODUCE

Location: Forest Park, Georgia

Are you an experienced farmer looking for an opportunity to grow and sell fresh produce?

I am seeking an experienced, motivated farmer to partner with me in establishing a small produce-growing operation on approximately half an acre of land in Forest Park, Georgia.

This is an opportunity for someone with farming experience who wants to grow vegetables and sell fresh produce without having to purchase land or supply all the necessary equipment and materials.

WHAT I PROVIDE

I will provide:

  • Land for farming.
  • Seeds and planting materials.
  • Water for irrigation.
  • Fertilizer.
  • Access to a tractor and equipment for land preparation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The selected farmer will be responsible for:

  • Recommending the most profitable crops to grow.
  • Preparing the growing area and establishing the crops.
  • Planting, watering, fertilizing, and maintaining the crops.
  • Managing the day-to-day farming operation.
  • Harvesting the produce.
  • Marketing and selling the harvested vegetables.
  • Keeping basic records of expenses, production, and sales.

We are particularly interested in growing tomatoes and other vegetables that have strong local demand and good profit potential.

COMPENSATION: PROFIT-SHARING OPPORTUNITY

I prefer a profit-sharing arrangement that benefits both parties.

I will contribute the land and agreed-upon farming resources, while the farmer will contribute the labor, knowledge, and management necessary to operate the farm.

The profit-sharing percentage and other financial terms are open for negotiation.

Interested farmers should propose an arrangement that is fair to both parties.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have practical experience growing vegetables or other produce.
  • Understand planting, irrigation, crop maintenance, and harvesting.
  • Know how to market and sell fresh produce.
  • Be dependable, hardworking, and capable of managing the operation.
  • Be interested in developing a productive, mutually beneficial partnership.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested candidates should provide:

  1. Their name and contact information.
  2. A description of their farming experience.
  3. The crops they recommend growing on approximately half an acre.
  4. A proposed plan for managing the farm.
  5. Their proposed compensation or profit-sharing arrangement.
  6. References, if available.
