Plan

We plan to secure 5 to 20 acres of land near coastal Georgia, ideally within 40 miles of Savannah, to establish a regenerative family homestead estate rooted in food security, ecological stewardship, and community education. We are looking for raw or partially developed land with flexible zoning that supports agricultural use, multiple structures, workshops, retreats, and community gatherings.

Our plan is to create both a private residence and a living laboratory that demonstrates how thoughtful design, regenerative agriculture, perennial food systems, and controlled environment agriculture can work together. The land will evolve in phases through intentional master planning, observation, mapping, and relationship building with the property itself.

We are especially interested in land with water access such as a pond, creek, lake, or strong well potential. We are comfortable rehabilitating underutilized clay or sandy soils through regenerative methods, cover cropping, perennial systems, and earthworks focused on water retention and long term ecological health.

The long term plan includes a sustainably designed home utilizing passive house principles, grey-water recycling, natural building materials, and more paired with a sustainable relationship with the land featuring perennial gardens, a greenhouse growing system, and a native fruit orchard.

Desired Transitional Agreement

  • Cooperative Model

Description of Desired Transitional Agreement

Ideally, we would like an arrangement that allows us to begin stewarding and understanding the property while gradually implementing infrastructure, gardens, and long term planning systems.

Our approach includes a temporary living setup such as a tiny home, Airstream, camper, or mobile home while we establish the site and continue phased development. During this observation and planning period, we would begin regenerative soil practices, perennial garden systems, cover cropping, and land mapping.

We are eager to work alongside experienced elder landowners or current land stewards who are interested in mentorship, shared infrastructure models, or collaborative stewardship approaches while maintaining clear ownership structures and expectations.

The goal is to create a respectful, mutually beneficial transition that honors the land, existing relationships, and long term stewardship plan.

Additional Information on Produce or Livestock Needs

Our agricultural focus centers around regenerative perennial food systems and controlled environment agriculture. We are especially interested in developing food forest systems, intercropping strategies, perennial vegetables and herbs, medicinal plants, and orchard production that become more resilient and productive over time.

We also plan to incorporate greenhouse based aeroponic production systems to support year round food growing and educational demonstrations related to controlled environment agriculture and food security.

In terms of livestock, we are interested in beginning with a bee apiary. Over time, we hope to continue expanding the livestock while regenerative systems support both ecological health and long term food production.

Our overall plan is to create a productive homestead capable of generating surplus food, educational opportunities, and community connection while demonstrating regenerative land stewardship practices in a near coastal Georgia environment.
