Plan
I am an experienced production farmer currently operating in central Oklahoma, looking to relocate my family and farm operation to Georgia. I have been growing watermelons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, and okra commercially for many years, selling through farmers markets and wholesale channels, with a long-term vision of scaling to a larger conventional row crop operation.
I am looking for cropland ranging from 50 to 500 acres or more. I am open to specialty crops, row crops, or a combination of both depending on what the land and market support. I am experienced, adaptable, and committed to building a serious long-term farming operation.
I am looking for a property with existing infrastructure — barns, equipment storage, and ideally a farmhouse or dwelling included, as I will be relocating with my family. I am a careful land steward who values a strong working relationship with landowners and takes pride in maintaining property.
I am open to lease arrangements and willing to discuss terms that work for both parties. My goal is a long-term commitment, not a short-term arrangement.
Desired Transitional Agreement
Description of Desired Transitional Agreement
I am seeking a long-term farmland lease arrangement, ideally with a path toward a stable multi-year agreement. I am open to a standard cash rent lease or a flexible arrangement that works for both parties. I am relocating my family permanently and am not looking for a short-term or seasonal situation. I intend to invest in the land and build a lasting operation, so I am committed to being a dependable, long-term tenant who maintains the property well and communicates openly with the landowner.

Additional Information on Produce or Livestock Needs
My primary background is commercial specialty crop production — watermelons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, and okra — with a strong focus on direct market and wholesale sales. I am experienced in producing high-yield warm-season vegetables and have established relationships with wholesale buyers and farmers markets. Moving forward, I am open to expanding into row crops such as corn, soybeans, or grain sorghum depending on the land and local market. My long-term goal is to build a diversified production farm that combines specialty crops with conventional row crop operations and scales to several hundred acres over time. I do not currently run livestock but am open to discussing it depending on the property and opportunity.
Preferred Equipment and Infrastructure
Equipment and Infrastructure Details
I am looking for a property with existing infrastructure including barns, equipment storage, and a farmhouse or dwelling for my family. I currently operate with a walk-behind tractor and hand tools for smaller plots, and I am prepared to scale up equipment as acreage grows. I do not require the landowner to provide equipment, but access to existing infrastructure such as irrigation systems, wells, or outbuildings would be a significant advantage. I am open to discussing any equipment or improvement arrangements that benefit both parties.

Farm Education/Training
Additional Info on Experience/Education
I have multiple years of hands-on production farming experience growing watermelons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, and okra commercially in central Oklahoma. My training is entirely field-based — I have learned by doing, managing all aspects of a working farm including planting, irrigation, pest management, harvest, and direct marketing through farmers markets and wholesale buyers. I have experience with USDA farm programs including NAP and crop insurance. I am a sole operator who runs a tight, efficient operation and takes land stewardship seriously.
