We are retired, early 50’s with a passion for land, animals and sustainability. Due to our previous professions and personal circumstances, we were unable to establish any type of footprint within agriculture. Since relocating to GA, we are very interested in pursuing this avenue by assisting an existing farm with their current operations.
We are hard workers who are not afraid to get our hands dirty. We are also quick studies who absorb and retain education / instruction allowing us to become assets at a quick pace. We are not looking to come in and change anything, but are open to providing suggestions / guidance on how to improve operations, streamline items for better efficiency, etc if asked.
In a nutshell, we are gun carrying Christians who love God and our country. We want to be part of the solution to the current problem of farmland being bought and sold for data centers and/or housing developments. We want to do our part as Americans to save the farms and keep produce/cattle in production for as long as possible.
Desired Transitional Agreement
Description of Desired Transitional Agreement
To align with a local farmer and learn all facets of their farming practices, as well as acquire their knowledge, in order to continue their legacy for many years to come. In turn, as we begin to age out of the hands on part of farming, we would utilize this same platform to identify the next generation that we would pass the farm onto when the time comes.

We would reside in our own home in Gilmer County and work alongside the owner / operator and go home at the end of the day.
We would be available for any situation that may arise needing our immediate assistance within reason. (If we were out of pocket at an event or on vacation, this would prohibit our immediate availability).
We would not be available on Sundays as we drive 1.5 hours each way to Cowboy Church.

Relatives own farmland in Missouri and have been a good reference point. Have experience checking fence lines and making fence repairs to pastures.
