Desired Locations

Plan

I am a regenerative organic no-till/minimal till farmer, and I plan on starting a production and educational farm focusing on vegetables and medicinals in the greater Atlanta area.

I am looking for 2-10+ acres of relatively flat farmland with access to water and electricity at the minimum.

I utilize soil-first practices in farming, focusing on microbial health and biodiversity, and I believe in fostering respectful and harmonious relationships between soil - plant - human.

Desired Transitional Agreement

  • Sale
  • Lease
  • Cooperative Model
  • Business Partnership

Description of Desired Transitional Agreement

I am interested in any and all opportunities that arise, and thrive in creative solutions and partnerships, whether that is a lease model, cooperative model, partnership, or creative land sale opportunity.

Type of Current Production on Farm

Produce / Land Cover

  • Flowers
  • Fruit Trees / Nursery Stock
  • Herbs
  • Vegetables / Fruit

Livestock

  • Bees
  • Poultry

Additional Information on Produce or Livestock Needs

I mainly want to focus on vegetables for market & local restaurants, but I also will be growing medicinal plants that I utilize in skin-care products.

If the space allowed, I would like to raise hens as well.

Long-term, keeping bees is definitely an interest.

Preferred Equipment and Infrastructure

  • Well / Pond / Other Water Source
  • Access to Electricity

Equipment and Infrastructure Details

At the minimum, I am looking for land with available water and electricity.

I would absolutely love a location with existing farm infrastructure, like cold storage, dry storage, a greenhouse, barn, fencing, etc, but those are not absolutely necessary.

6 to 10 years

Farm Education/Training

  • Volunteer
  • On the job

Additional Info on Experience/Education

I gained much of my knowledge from first hand experience, owning and operating my farm in California for 4 years.

I also am a student and graduate of the Soil Food Web School, where I completed the foundational coursework and received a certification in shadowing microscopy with the purpose of analyzing soil samples and performing biological assessments.
