Description of Desired Transitional Agreement
I am passionate to cultivate the earth and serve my community, I am seeking a 1-to-5-acre land lease to build a sustainable, education-focused market garden with no upfront cash required—offering my skilled labor, land stewardship, and agricultural expertise in exchange for lease access. My vision is to transform this space into a productive small-scale farm that yields fresh, high-quality produce to feed my family, supply local markets, and serve as an educational space where community members can learn hands-on, sustainable growing techniques. Through a work-for-rent or crop-share partnership,I wish to creat a model garden to demonstrate permaculture , butterfly garden, vertical garden, raised beds.will actively care for and enhance the property by improving soil health, maintaining boundaries and infrastructure, and practicing organic land management. By combining dedicated sweat equity with a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and community uplift, this lease will turn shared values into a thriving, self-sustaining agricultural sanctuary.

Additional Information on Produce or Livestock Needs
My goal is to develop a small, sustainable farm that provides fresh, high-quality fruits, vegetables, herbs, and specialty produce for my family, friends, and local community. I am particularly interested in growing organically and producing varieties that are fresh, flavorful, and not always readily available in local grocery stores.
Since I am Montessori teacher, I would also like the farm to have an educational purpose. I hope to create a small garden where school children can visit and learn firsthand how fruits, vegetables, and herbs are grown, cared for, harvested, and prepared. I would love to provide hands-on learning opportunities that help children understand where their food comes from and develop an appreciation for agriculture and healthy food.
For livestock, I am interested in keeping a small number of chickens and goats. These animals would provide an opportunity to learn about responsible animal care and sustainable farming while also complementing the farm’s educational purpose.
In the future, I would like to explore selling a portion of my specialty produce, particularly fresh tomatoes, herbs, and other high-quality vegetables, to local restaurants and specialty food establishments. I am especially interested in working with restaurants that value fresh, locally grown ingredients, including Italian restaurants and other farm-to-table establishments.
Overall, my goal is to create a small farm that combines family food production, education, responsible animal care, and potentially a modest local market for specialty produce.
Preferred Equipment and Infrastructure
Equipment and Infrastructure Details
The items I selected above represent my primary interests and immediate goals for developing the farm. However, having access to additional farm structures, equipment, and resources would be very helpful as the farm grows and becomes more productive.
I am particularly interested in resources that would support vegetable and herb gardens, fruit production, small livestock, and educational activities for children. Helpful structures and equipment could include a greenhouse or high tunnel, raised garden beds, irrigation and water systems, fencing, a small chicken coop, goat shelter, storage areas, composting facilities, and basic farm tools and equipment.

We are a family of six—my husband, our four children, and me. We live in Fulton County Johns creek area. Luckily we don’t have Homeowners association in our subdivision.. so we maintain few fruit trees and a small herb and vegetable garden.
Farming is an important part of our family heritage. Both my husband and I come from farming families in Pakistan, where our ancestors owned and worked agricultural land. We grew up around farms and have firsthand experience working with the land from childhood.
We moved to the United States in pursuit of a better future for our family. My husband has built a career as an IT professional and is now approaching retirement. As we look toward the next chapter of our lives, we would like to reconnect with the agricultural lifestyle that has always been part of our family history.currently I am working but myself and my husband both looking forward to become full time future farmer and farm educators.
I have also worked for live plant nursery at Home Depot.
Our vision is to establish a small family farm where we can grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, and specialty crops, raise a small number of animals, and create a place where our children and future generations can experience the connection between land, food, animals, and nature.
