Plan
I am in the early stages of building May Apple Lane Farm, a regenerative agriculture business focused on community impact, sustainability, and local food systems. While my long-term goal is to acquire 20+ acres for a fully integrated farm and retail experience, I’m currently developing my skills through a backyard market garden. I’m preparing to sell at local farmers markets and launch a small CSA in my subdivision to test products and operations on a smaller scale.
At this stage, I am seeking land to lease or, if the right opportunity presents itself, to purchase a small farm that aligns with my values. I am especially interested in land that is either already practicing regenerative agriculture or is well-suited for regenerative transition, with good soil health, access to water, and a supportive environment for practices like composting, rotational planting, and cover cropping.
My goal is to steward the land responsibly, grow clean and nutrient-rich produce, and build a model that nourishes both the community and the earth. I am open to collaborations with landowners who are aligned with these values and would welcome the opportunity to care for their land with integrity and purpose.
Desired Transitional Agreement
Description of Desired Transitional Agreement
Ideally, I would love to purchase a farm that needs care, vision, and revitalization, something I can grow into and improve over time. However, I am also very open to leasing land as a transitional step. Leasing would allow me to strengthen my growing skills, test systems, and scale up responsibly as I prepare for the future.
My long-term goal is to acquire land or purchase a larger farm where I can fully realize the May Apple Lane Farm concept, which is rooted in regenerative agriculture and a farm-to-shelf retail model. Building a strong foundation now will give that vision the greatest chance for lasting success.

Additional Information on Produce or Livestock Needs
My immediate focus is on growing a diverse selection of organic vegetables and herbs through regenerative practices. I’m currently working with sprouted seeds and succession planting in my backyard to establish a reliable crop rotation system. As I expand, I plan to grow seasonal produce, culinary herbs, and medicinal plants for fresh sale, preserves, teas, tinctures, and value-added products under my private label.
In the long term, I plan to raise laying hens for egg production and incorporate cows for dairy and meat. I also intend to begin building a farming partner network with other local growers and producers to help support the expansion of my CSA program and to ensure consistent supply for the future retail market at May Apple Lane Farm.
My goal is to provide clean, locally grown food to the community while using holistic practices that support soil health, animal welfare, and biodiversity. Everything produced will contribute to a farm-to-shelf model through a retail market on-site and an e-commerce platform.
Preferred Equipment and Infrastructure
Equipment and Infrastructure Details
I am still determining the specific equipment and infrastructure needs that would best support the land I lease or purchase. However, I am actively educating myself on regenerative organic farming practices and gaining a deeper understanding of the tools required for long-term success. Currently, I am composting on-site in my market garden and exploring the potential need for greenhouses, cold storage, and a wash and pack station. I am also interested in sustainable infrastructure such as solar-powered systems and efficient water access solutions to support both environmental stewardship and operational efficiency.
It would be incredibly helpful to partner with a farmer who can provide guidance on the most practical and effective equipment and infrastructure choices. As I continue to grow and learn, I am committed to making thoughtful, sustainable decisions when the time comes to invest in May Apple Lane Farm.

Additional Info on Experience/Education
While I am early in my journey, I’m deeply committed to learning everything I can about regenerative agriculture. I’ve been studying regenerative market gardening through online resources, including YouTube and farming education channels, and I’m currently growing a variety of crops in my backyard using organic practices. My garden has been thriving, and this hands-on experience is teaching me what it takes to grow responsibly and consistently.
I’m passionate about this work and fully committed to building a future in farming. I see this as a lifelong calling, not just a business. I’m eager to continue expanding my knowledge through real-world experience, collaboration with other farmers, and stewarding the land with care and integrity.
