Plan
We are Love of the Land Farms, a wife and husband duo of first generation farmers. We currently work on 6 acres, 3 usable pasture, where we pasture raise chicken, duck, quail, and rabbits. Everything we do is certified naturally grown and we aim to get to certified organic status eventually. Everything we do has sustainability and the health of the animals in mind. We currently sell our goods at several local farmers markets and aim to continue expanding into more markets and into wholesale once we can get a certified production kitchen for our eggs and meat. We have; however, reached the full potential of our current land and are looking for more acreage to continue expansion.
Desired Transitional Agreement
Description of Desired Transitional Agreement
As we are first generation farmers we are open to a variety of arrangements. Our dream is to continue growing our own personal farm, but are happy to look into other farm management opportunities on already functioning farms. We would love to purchase the perfect property for our forever farm and home, but are still on the lookout for appealing lease opportunities in the mean time, as we need to expand our operation as soon as possible.

Love of the Land Farms itself has been in production two years, one year building and this second year finally in the sales market. Prior to developing Love of the Land Farms Co-Owner, Chase Ritterbusch, Worked for two years on Smyly farms, a certified organic chicken and duck farm that also raises everything on pasture and practices sustainability. There he worked as a farm manager and worked closely with the owner himself and learned a great deal on organic and pasture raised practices, as well as larger scale production. From there a dream was born and we started our own farm to continue learning as we go and create the life we love.
