Plan
I am the owner/operator of Locs and Heritage Farm, a small-scale farm currently operating at Global Growers Network's Rockdale Organic Co-Farm. I completed the Georgia Organics Farmer Apprenticeship in 2023 and launched my farm in 2024. My experience includes certified organic vegetable, fruit, herb and plant production, direct-to-consumer sales, farmers markets, farm education and community programming. (You can visit my website and Facebook by clicking the highlighted links.)
I am seeking land where I can continue developing Locs and Heritage Farm into a long-term diversified farm and educational space. My primary production focus is vegetables, culinary herbs, fruit, flowers and nursery plants, with the potential to incorporate poultry and other small livestock in the future.
I am particularly interested in approximately 1–5 acres initially, although I am open to larger properties when the opportunity is a good fit. My preference is eventually to own farmland, but I am also open to a long-term lease, lease-to-own arrangement, cooperative arrangement, farm-management opportunity, or another mutually beneficial land-transition model.
I am looking for a property where I can establish permanent farm infrastructure and continue building a farm that supports food production, education, workshops and community engagement. Existing water access, fencing, storage, greenhouse space and farmer housing would be valuable, but I am also willing to consider undeveloped land where appropriate infrastructure can be established.
Desired Transitional Agreement
Description of Desired Transitional Agreement
My long-term goal is to acquire farmland where I can establish a permanent home for my family and Locs and Heritage Farm. While purchasing land is my preferred arrangement, I am open to exploring long-term leases, lease-to-own opportunities, cooperative land arrangements, farm management agreements, and other mutually beneficial land-transition opportunities.
I am particularly interested in working with landowners who value responsible land stewardship, sustainable agriculture, and preserving farmland for future generations. Ideally, I am seeking a property that offers existing farmer/family housing or the opportunity to establish a permanent residence on the land, alongside agricultural production and farm infrastructure.
I would like an arrangement that allows me to expand crop production, establish and maintain farm infrastructure, and develop educational programming, including workshops and hands-on agricultural learning opportunities for children and families.
For lease arrangements, I would prefer a multi-year agreement that provides stability, clearly defined responsibilities, permission to make agreed-upon agricultural improvements, and the possibility of on-site family housing where permitted. I am also interested in connecting with retiring farmers or landowners seeking someone to continue actively cultivating and caring for their property.
Ultimately, I am seeking a long-term opportunity where I can invest in the land, build a sustainable farm business, provide a stable home for my family, and create something that benefits future generations and the surrounding community.

Additional Information on Produce or Livestock Needs
My primary focus is diversified organic vegetable and culinary herb production for direct-to-consumer sales, farmers markets and future subscription/CSA sales. I am also interested in expanding fruit, cut flowers, nursery plants and perennial production. Over time, I would like to integrate poultry and potentially other small livestock into a diversified farm system. Education is also an important part of my farm model, including workshops, volunteer opportunities and hands-on agricultural programming.
Preferred Equipment and Infrastructure
Equipment and Infrastructure Details
I am open to both developed farm properties and raw land. Existing infrastructure such as a reliable water source, fencing, storage or barn space, greenhouse/high-tunnel space, electricity and farmer housing would be highly desirable. However, I am willing to establish infrastructure gradually on a property that offers secure long-term tenure and allows agricultural improvements. Vehicle/truck access and sufficient sunlight for intensive vegetable production are important.

Farm Education/Training
Additional Info on Experience/Education
I completed the Georgia Organics Farmer Apprenticeship in 2023, receiving hands-on training in crop production, soil management, planting, harvesting, cultivation, bed preparation and turnover, market preparation and farm business practices.
In 2024, I launched Locs and Heritage Farm at Global Growers Network's Rockdale Co-Farm. I began farming on approximately 0.10 acre and later transitioned to certified organic production on a 0.25 acre plot. Through operating my farm, I have gained experience in crop planning, seed starting, organic production, direct-to-consumer sales, farmers markets, SNAP/EBT sales, volunteer management, farm education and workshop development.
In addition to production, I have developed educational programming for beginning growers and community members and have provided training related to increasing food access through SNAP/EBT sales at farmers markets. I intend to continue expanding both the production and educational sides of the farm as I transition onto long-term land.
