Fully Committed Christian Ministries International, Inc. (FCCMI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry serving families throughout Gwinnett County and surrounding communities, is seeking farmland to develop Harper’s Family Garden & Agricultural Program.
Our goal is to establish a sustainable community-based farm that will grow fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other produce to support Harper’s Family Pantry and Mobile Pantry. The farm will help us increase access to nutritious food for families experiencing food insecurity while reducing our dependence on purchased and donated produce.
We are looking for agricultural land in or within reasonable driving distance of Gwinnett County, Georgia. We are open to a lease, long-term land-use agreement, partnership, donated use of land, or a pathway toward future ownership. Ideally, the property would have suitable soil, access to water, vehicle access, space for crop production, and the potential for basic agricultural infrastructure such as irrigation, storage, a greenhouse or high tunnel, and eventually small-scale educational and community activities.
Our long-term vision extends beyond food production. FCCMI plans to use the farm as a community resource for gardening and nutrition education, volunteer service, youth agricultural learning, workforce development, and opportunities for veterans, returning citizens, families, and other community members to develop practical agricultural and life skills.
Produce grown through the program would primarily support FCCMI's charitable food-access programs and community distributions, with future opportunities for seedlings, community garden plots, workshops, farm-to-family initiatives, and other mission-supporting agricultural activities.
We are especially interested in connecting with a landowner who values community service, food security, responsible stewardship of the land, and a long-term partnership that can grow over time.
FCCMI is not simply looking for acreage. We are looking for a place where we can cultivate food, skills, opportunity, and stronger families while building a sustainable agricultural resource for the community.

FCCMI’s primary agricultural goal is to develop a diversified produce operation through Harper’s Family Garden & Agricultural Program that increases access to fresh, nutritious food for families experiencing food insecurity throughout Gwinnett County and surrounding communities.
Initial production would focus on seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs, and other crops suitable for Georgia’s growing conditions. We are also interested in establishing fruit trees and perennial crops and, as resources allow, incorporating greenhouse, high-tunnel, and hydroponic growing methods to extend production beyond the traditional growing season.
A significant portion of harvested produce would support Harper’s Family Pantry and Mobile Pantry distributions. Our goal is to gradually increase the amount of locally grown fresh food available through our charitable food programs while reducing dependence on purchased produce and unpredictable food donations.
We are also interested in pollinator-friendly production and beekeeping as the farm develops. Livestock is not an immediate priority. Any future addition of poultry or other small-scale livestock would be introduced only after appropriate infrastructure, funding, staffing, animal-care plans, and regulatory requirements are in place.
Beyond production, the farm is intended to become a hands-on learning environment for gardening, nutrition, food preservation, agricultural education, volunteer service, and workforce development. We envision opportunities for families, youth, veterans, returning citizens, and other community members to learn practical skills while participating in a productive community agricultural operation.
Our long-term goal is to create a sustainable farm-to-family model that connects agricultural production directly with FCCMI’s food-access mission while creating opportunities for education, service, employment skills, and community engagement.

FCCMI brings practical experience in community food access, food distribution, volunteer coordination, nonprofit program management, and partnerships with organizations serving families experiencing food insecurity. Through Harper’s Family Pantry and Mobile Pantry, our team has gained hands-on experience receiving, transporting, storing, organizing, and distributing fresh produce and other food products while implementing appropriate food-safety and inventory practices.
Our organization is now seeking to expand from primarily distributing food to participating directly in sustainable food production. We recognize that operating an agricultural program requires specialized knowledge and experience, and we are committed to approaching this transition responsibly.
While FCCMI is not currently operating a commercial farm, our leadership is committed to agricultural education, technical assistance, and hands-on training. We are particularly interested in connecting with an experienced or transitioning farmer who may be willing to provide mentorship and share knowledge regarding soil preparation, crop planning, planting and harvesting schedules, irrigation, equipment operation, pest management, food safety, and overall farm stewardship.
As the program develops, FCCMI intends to pursue appropriate agricultural training and build relationships with agricultural extension services, experienced growers, and other farming and food-system partners.
Our strengths are community service, nonprofit leadership, food distribution, partnership development, volunteer engagement, and program implementation. We are seeking the agricultural land, education, mentorship, and experience necessary to responsibly add food production to that foundation.
We view this as a long-term learning and development process and are committed to becoming knowledgeable, responsible stewards of both the land and the agricultural resources entrusted to us.
