Desired Locations
Plan
I am seeking land to establish and grow the Fields of Care Project, a community-focused nonprofit initiative centered on gardening, food education, and practical life skills. Our mission is built around three core areas: Grow, Cook, and Preserve. Through hands-on education, participants learn how to grow fresh food, prepare healthy and affordable meals, and preserve their harvest for future use.
I am looking for land that could support a teaching and demonstration garden, raised beds, seasonal crop production, workshops, youth and family programming, and eventually additional infrastructure such as a greenhouse, storage area, and outdoor learning space.
I am open to exploring different opportunities, including purchasing land, leasing property, a lease-to-own arrangement, or partnering with a landowner who shares the vision of using agriculture and education to strengthen families and communities.
As a horticulture student and the founder of the Fields of Care Project, my goal is to create a sustainable space where people can gain practical skills, connect with agriculture, and experience the full journey from seed to table. I am particularly interested in land in or near Hall County and surrounding Northeast Georgia communities that offers room for the program to grow over time.
Desired Transitional Agreement
Description of Desired Transitional Agreement
I am open to a variety of transitional arrangements that would allow the Fields of Care Project to establish and gradually expand its agricultural and educational programming. This could include a long-term lease, lease-to-own agreement, shared-use arrangement, partnership with an existing landowner, or other pathway that could eventually lead to permanent land access or ownership.
Ideally, I am seeking an arrangement that provides enough stability to invest time and resources into developing gardens, improving the land, and establishing educational programming. I would welcome the opportunity to work with a landowner who values agriculture, education, community service, and responsible stewardship of the land.
Because Fields of Care is in its early stages of development, I am especially interested in arrangements that allow for gradual growth while creating a mutually beneficial relationship with the landowner. My long-term goal is to establish a permanent home for Fields of Care, but I am open to beginning with a transitional arrangement that allows me to demonstrate responsible land management, build programming, and work toward future ownership or long-term tenure.

Additional Information on Produce or Livestock Needs
The Fields of Care Project’s primary focus will begin with growing fresh produce, herbs, flowers, and other crops that support our Grow, Cook, and Preserve educational programs. Our goal is to use hands-on agricultural experiences to teach individuals and families how food is grown, harvested, prepared, and preserved while also creating opportunities to learn about sustainability and responsible land stewardship.
As Fields of Care grows, we hope to gradually incorporate bees and pollinator education, poultry, fish, and small livestock such as sheep and goats into our agricultural and educational programming. Long-term goals may also include cattle, pigs, and equine activities as the organization gains access to appropriate land, infrastructure, funding, expertise, and community partnerships.
We understand that each area of agricultural production requires specialized knowledge, resources, facilities, and responsible animal care. These selections represent the long-term vision for Fields of Care rather than an expectation to begin every operation immediately. We plan to develop the property and its programs in responsible phases, beginning with produce and flowers and expanding based on the land available, community needs, organizational capacity, and opportunities for sustainable growth.
Ultimately, our vision is to create a diverse agricultural and community education space where people of different ages and backgrounds can experience multiple aspects of agriculture, develop practical skills, and better understand the connection between the land, the food we eat, and the communities we build.
Preferred Equipment and Infrastructure
Equipment and Infrastructure Details
The Fields of Care Project is in the early stages of development, and our equipment and infrastructure needs will grow alongside the organization and the land available. We are prepared to work with the resources and infrastructure a property currently offers while responsibly developing additional needs over time.
Our initial priorities include reliable access to water and electricity, irrigation equipment, fencing, secure storage, basic farm equipment, and suitable areas for growing seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other crops. Greenhouse space would also support year-round growing, propagation, and hands-on educational opportunities.
As Fields of Care grows, our long-term goals include access to cold storage and processing facilities to support the harvesting, preparation, and preservation components of our Grow, Cook, and Preserve programs. Barn and livestock facilities would allow for future expansion into small-scale livestock, agricultural education, and youth programming. Farmer housing is also part of the long-term vision of establishing a permanent and sustainable agricultural and community education site.
We understand that one property may not have all of these features or resources immediately. Fields of Care is open to working with what is currently available and developing infrastructure in phases through responsible land stewardship, grants, partnerships, fundraising, and organizational growth. Our goal is to find land where we can begin planting seeds—both literally and within the community—and build toward the larger vision over time.

Additional Info on Experience/Education
I have an educational and professional background that combines horticulture, food service, hospitality, leadership, and community-focused education. I studied Horticulture Science at Lanier Technical College, where I gained knowledge and hands-on experience in plant science, greenhouse management, landscape practices, plant identification, propagation, and sustainable growing techniques.
My professional background also includes extensive experience in food service and hospitality, including cooking, serving, catering, event operations, and leadership roles. I hold a ServSafe Manager certification, which supports my knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices.
I am the founder of the Fields of Care Project, a developing nonprofit organization focused on teaching practical skills through its core areas of Grow, Cook, and Preserve. I have developed educational program concepts and curriculum designed to help individuals and families learn how to grow food, prepare affordable meals, and preserve their harvest.
I am continuing to expand my practical agricultural experience while developing Fields of Care into a sustainable community education initiative. My long-term goal is to combine my horticulture education, food-service experience, and passion for serving others to create a working educational garden and agricultural space that provides hands-on learning opportunities for families and communities.
