Desired Locations
Plan
I’m currently working on an organic vegetable farm in Mansfield (Newton County) and am looking to start a small, manageable growing space of my own nearby.
I’m seeking access to approximately 1–3 acres of land in the Newton or Walton County area where I can grow a mix of seasonal vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, greens, herbs, etc.) using organic and soil-building practices.
My goal is to start small and do things the right way—focused on soil health, clean management, and consistent upkeep of the space. I take pride in maintaining land well and leaving it better than I found it.
I’m open to flexible arrangements depending on the landowner’s goals, including a low-cost lease, produce sharing, or helping maintain the property in exchange for land use.
Being close to Mansfield is important so I can balance this with my current farm work and be consistently present on the land.
Long-term, I’m working toward building a sustainable small-scale farming operation, but right now my focus is simply getting started, proving consistency, and growing quality food locally.
I’m reliable, respectful, and easy to work with, and I’m happy to start small and grow over time.
Desired Transitional Agreement
Description of Desired Transitional Agreement
I’m primarily looking for a simple lease arrangement for a small portion of land (1–3 acres) where I can grow vegetables and build a small, well-managed operation over time.
I’m very open to flexible terms depending on the landowner’s goals, including low-cost lease options, produce sharing, or helping maintain and improve the property in exchange for land use.
I also selected business partnership because I’m open to collaborative opportunities if the right fit comes along—especially if a landowner is interested in having the land actively used and improved—but I’m not looking to overcomplicate things. My preference is to start simple, build trust, and grow from there.
My priority is to take care of the land, keep things clean and organized, and create a setup that benefits both myself and the landowner long-term.

Additional Information on Produce or Livestock Needs
My current focus is on growing a variety of seasonal vegetables and herbs using small-scale, organic, and soil-building practices. I’m aiming to start with a manageable footprint and produce consistent, high-quality crops while continuing to learn and improve through hands-on experience.
I’m especially interested in building healthy soil, maintaining clean and organized growing spaces, and creating a system that is sustainable and easy to manage over time.
While my immediate focus is on produce, I do have a long-term interest in integrating small livestock such as broiler chickens in a responsible, low-impact way once I have an established foundation—but that is not something I am looking to start right away.
My goal is to grow steadily, take care of the land, and build something that adds value to the property over time.
Preferred Equipment and Infrastructure
Equipment and Infrastructure Details
I’m looking for land with a reliable water source as a priority. Access to electricity is helpful but not required.
I plan to operate on a small scale and keep things simple, so I do not require significant infrastructure to get started. I’m comfortable working with minimal setup and building things out gradually if needed.
If equipment or infrastructure is already available on the property, I’m open to using it respectfully, but I can also provide my own basic tools and setup.

Additional Info on Experience/Education
I currently work as a farm crew member on an organic vegetable farm in Mansfield, where I’m involved in harvest, field work, and general farm operations. This includes crop handling, bed prep, planting, weeding, and maintaining clean and efficient systems throughout the farm.
I have hands-on experience growing vegetables at home as well, including tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, herbs, and greens. I’ve worked with seed starting, transplanting, and managing plants through different stages of growth, with a strong focus on learning and improving each season.
I’m especially interested in soil health and sustainable growing practices and am actively continuing to learn through books, real-world experience, and working alongside other farmers.
While I’m still early in building my own operation, I show up consistently, work hard, and take pride in doing things the right way.
