Plan
I am seeking 5–10 acres in Georgia to establish a family-owned, sustainable farm and build a permanent family home. With a background in public health and three years of experience managing an urban farm in Washington, DC, I want to build a profitable farming business that connects local agriculture with better health and nutrition.
The farm will focus on growing fresh fruits, vegetables, and specialty crops using sustainable farming practices. My business plan is built around established ways farmers sell their products: directly to families through farmers markets and produce subscriptions, and in larger quantities to schools, hospitals, universities, and other institutions that purchase food regularly.
A key focus will be Food Is Medicine, working with healthcare providers and community programs to make fresh produce more accessible to people managing diet-related health conditions.
I plan to start small, build reliable customers, and gradually expand production as demand grows. My long-term goal is to operate a financially successful farm that supports my family, creates opportunities for other local growers, and strengthens Georgia's local food economy.
Desired Transitional Agreement
Description of Desired Transitional Agreement
My preferred arrangement is to purchase the right property outright, with the goal of establishing a permanent family residence and a sustainable, profitable farming operation. However, I am open to alternative arrangements, including lease-to-own agreements, long-term leases with an option to purchase, or business partnerships with landowners who share my vision for agriculture and responsible land stewardship.

Additional Info on Experience/Education
I have three years of experience managing agricultural operations and community-based food systems initiatives with DC Greens at The Well at Oxon Run, a one-acre urban farm and community wellness space in Washington, DC. Through this work, I have helped facilitate the growing, purchasing, and distribution of over 30,000 pounds of fresh produce in an urban environment, expanding access to nutritious food for underserved communities.
My experience includes training farmers, volunteers, and residents in sustainable growing practices, fruit tree care and maintenance, soil health, composting, and seasonal crop production. I also coordinate partnerships with growers, community organizations, and food distribution partners throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region. A significant part of my work involves engaging residents, organizing agricultural education and volunteer opportunities, and helping communities build the knowledge and skills to grow their own food.
With my background in public health and environmental sustainability, I bring a practical understanding of how agriculture can support healthier communities, strengthen local food systems, and create economic opportunities for farmers and growers.
