Create a learning environment where people of all ages can, not only come learn how to grow food, but may also practice growing and find a more sustainable way to live. Create a hosting space where people can have short term stays to learn and experience life on a farm.

I have raised most common livestock. Animal husbandry was my main focus from 2016-2024
Goats and chickens are so much fun. Rabbits are great with proper housing especially in the south. Pigs have amazing personalities and I loved all my bottle babies. Always raised animals for food.
Recently transitioned to another farm and have been focused solely on learning to grow with soil health as the main focus. Thoroughly look forward to the earth continuing to teach me everyday.

Most things are nice to have but they can be added later or built I’ve mostly used hand tools to grow and I’m grateful for that experience. More recently was introduced to a walk behind and it is such a time saver! However knowing how to do things by hand or with minimal tools is nice Just in case something breaks.

12 years of farming experience livestock and vegetables. I’ve hosted and planned farm to table and guest services. I have experience with running non profit organizations, I am a retired teacher and have taught adults and children of all ages.
