I am a beginning farmer looking for an opportunity to establish a small, peaceful and productive homestead in Georgia. My goal is to lease approximately 1–5 acres with farmer housing where I can responsibly raise laying hens for fresh eggs and grow vegetables, herbs, fruit and fruit trees.
I plan to begin on a small, manageable scale and grow gradually as I gain hands-on farming experience. I am particularly interested in sustainable practices, responsible animal care, gardening, composting and learning how to become more self-sufficient.
I am seeking a long-term lease and would like to build a positive relationship with a landowner who wants their property cared for and put to productive use. Ideally, the property would have access to water, fencing or the ability to install appropriate fencing, and space for a chicken coop, garden and small orchard.
I am willing to learn, work hard, maintain the property responsibly and communicate openly with the landowner. My long-term vision is to create a beautiful, productive homestead that provides fresh eggs and produce while allowing me to continue developing my farming knowledge and skills.

I am a beginning farmer currently building my knowledge through independent research, farm planning and hands-on learning. I have developed a written business plan for my future homestead and am actively learning about laying-hen care, egg handling, vegetable and herb gardening, composting, soil health and responsible land stewardship. I am eager to continue learning through practical experience, educational programs and guidance from experienced farmers and agricultural resources.

I am seeking a property suitable for a small homestead with farmer housing, a secure area for poultry, fencing, reliable access to water, and space for a vegetable and herb garden. Existing barn or storage space would be helpful but is not required. I am open to improving the property responsibly with the landowner’s approval.
