Looking for the following:

Type of opportunity:

Sale (Standard), Sale (Owner Financed). More info: Looking for a family farm with a minimum of 15-25 acres, more is great. Prefer some water onsite (river or creek). Flexible, friendly buyer with cash in hand and can close quickly. Open to just land, or with a house. Also open to purchasing and allowing the current owner to live there or lease the land for a number of years. Even if you have a unique situation, please reach out. Owning a farm is my dream.

Equipment & infrastructure:

More info: Flexible on equipment. Great if it has some to come with a sale, but not required.

Current production on farm:

Cattle (Dairy/Beef), Fallow, Field crops, Herbs, Orchard, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Sheep/Goat (Dairy/Meat), Vegetable production, Vineyard. More info: We would like to grow a mix of row crops, vegetables, herbs, a vineyard, and olive trees. The land can include some or none of these and we start fresh. We are flexible.

Current farming practices:

None, the property is not being farmed. More info: This will be my family’s first farm, and I want my children to be exposed to it and gain an appreciation for the hard work and reward from the land. We plan to help feed the needy in the community and through our church. My wife and I are a quick study and will learn through experience.

Qualifications and goals:

Number of years experience:

0

Other qualifications:

More info: I have been exposed to farming through years of research and in a professional capacity.

Production goals:

Field crops, Herbs, Orchard, Vegetable production, Vineyard. More info: Would like to grow a mix of row crops, vegetables, a vineyard, and olive trees. If there is some pasture, I would lease this or exchange for meat.

Personal experience and production goals summary:

As noted above, my family is looking to purchase a farm that will allow us to grow our own food and help the community and those in need.  We are afforded some time to learn it and involve our children in the operation.  We look forward to becoming part of the local community.
